What I want to learn...

What I want to learn about computer is how to use excel. In fact I do not know what it is actually, but it seems very useful because almost all computers have it. While I went to junior high school or high school, I was always surprised that teacher made well organized papers in each classes. I suppose that they could use many program such as Word or Excel very well, so I want to know how to use it because I think it wil be useful in my future. Also, I am interested in composing music with using computer program. I can not write song at all but it seems very cool and sounds fun! Like this, the technology of computer is developing rapidly in many field, I want to know about them since I am sure they will be necessary knowledge when I get job.

After I enter NIC, some of (most of ?) my friend call me "otaku" I know the
reason, it's because I made power point last semester. However, I believe that
almost all NIC students are otaku!! Most of my friends in my hometown said they
don't use computer. On the other hand, NIC students use it everyday!! I suppose
that blog are not so common in other colleges and I'm sure my friends in my
hometown say I'm otaku if I have it(actually I don't have blog except this)
but, I think it is much better to know how to use a computer well because it's
obviously useful and it help us when we have job. So, let's become otaku
together!!

Future Computer

In the future, I suppose that computer will do everything for human such as waking them up, making breakfast, choosing cloth etc. But before such high-developed computers appear, I want computers to have a function. The function is like when we say something to type, the computer types it automatically. Now, I think many people suffer from typing many sentences because it takes much time. However, if computers have this great function, people will not suffer from typing any more. What they have to do is to say what they want to type. Wow, better idea has just hit on me now! All operation of computer should be worked by responding what people say. I mean future computer has only monitor, it will not have keyboard or mouse any more!! How terrible knowledge of computer a person has, he or she can operate computer very well because all they have to do is saying!

ipod mini

This time, I can write anything I want, so I decide to research about ipod mini. Recently, my ipod mini does not work well as I said in my past article, so I want to buy new one. Of cause I can not afford to buy new one but I cannot stand my life without music any more!! So, I researched about ipod mini, and I found a fact I did not know at all. Battery will be able to hold less and less hours after certain time. So, I thought my problem with my ipod mini is natural to happen. However, my ipod mini’s battery can hold only about 2 hours although the site said that battery can charge about 80% of former capacity; about 6 hours. Therefore I believe my problem is not natural… But! I found a great service that I can exchange my battery with new one within a year I bought the ipod mini!!! My father bought me the ipod mini as my birthday present last year and my birthday is December! So, I can exchange battery in this month. I am happy to find this service!

Meet many people

Where do you suppose you can meet many people?? In a city? School? Some amusement park?? These answers are also true, but the exact answer is in the Internet! Especially, blog, in addition to meeting people, also you can know what they are thinking even though you don’t know them. Depend on the writer, blogs are different very much. In this class, each person has own blog, but there are no similar blogs!! Everyone use color and pictures in their own way and make their blogs more unique. From how to write a blog, we can know what the person is like and what is his or her character. It is very interesting isn’t it? I was surprised how good other students write their blog and how different the blogs are from each other.

If I can buy whatever type of computer, I want t o buy a computer that let me enjoy watching DVD with beautiful screen or sound. And I found a very good computer that meets my desire. It is VISITAL!!

This computer has some good points. First, its screen is high quality of image and big. These are very important when watching DVD. This computer adopts “Super shine view EX2” which makes glow and brightness of screen better and “LRTC(TM)” which makes animation smoother. Second, this computer gives us the feeling of being at Movie Theater. “AUTHENSURROUND (R)” achieves that by emitting sound radiantly and sending deep sound out. Final good point is its cool design. I like black and chic design, so this computer is fit for my liking.

High developed robot dog

I found very funny news in the Internet!! It was about AIBO. Many people should know the robot which entertains people by moving like a dog made by SONY. I think that it is better to have real fog than to buy robot dog, however people buy the robot dog. One of my friends has one and she likes it very much but I cannot understand her feeling... Anyway, the news I found was that new AIBO can take pictures and more over, it can keep a diary!!!! It takes pictures by camera in its nose, chooses a photo from pictures it takes in a day, and keeps a diary which is suitable for the picture using 1000 vocabulary it has. The diary can be seen as a Blog in the Internet. Can you believe that?! I think it is really meaningless rather than I cannot believe. Besides, old type AIBO also can reply to what people said, but this new model AIBO can select words to reply depend on time or content the people said. Furthermore, new model AIBO can speak to people from itself!!! Why did SONY develop such technology and decide to sell it to ordinary people? I feel that it is one of first steps to the world computers take over human like a movie, “I, Robot”. Do I think it too seriously? ---I think I do(lol), but AIBO can not be said just a substitute for a living pet anymore!!

Misfortune

Recently, I have been worried about one thing. That is… I am out of luck with computer and computer goods!!! First, I cannot watch DVD on my laptop. I do not why but I just cannot… It is really inconvenient!!!! I thought to make it fixed by Toshiba, but I did not because I can not do my homework or research without my computer. So, I gave up to fix it. Next, my ipod mini is really strange. I only used it while I took train from my dormitory to NIC, when I took train to get back home, my ipod mini turn off because battery has run out!!! It is really strange, isn’t it?! I bought it just last year…In addition to that, my printer did not work for a while but the reason was ink cartridge, so I bought new one and this problem was solved. I seriously thought that I must not buy computer goods. Now, I want to get distal camera now. However, because of these recently experiences, I can not decide to buy.

Computer gifts

If I could give whatever things which are related to computer, I would give computer to my mother and ipod mini to my sister.

My mother can not use computer at all, when she had to type something, she always asked my father or me to do. However, I want her to use computer because when I go to America, it is the easiest way to send email to communicate with her. She said that she wanted to be able to use computer, so if I had money to buy, I would give a computer my mother.

The reason I want to give ipod to my sister is that I might have lost her MD Walkman some years ago (I believe I did returned to my sister but she said I did not). Now, she wants ipod. I am ipod mini user, so I know good points of ipod. It is small, light, and it can hold thousand of songs. Sometimes she asks me to buy one for her as a joke because I lost her MD Walkman. She says so as a joke but it was my fault (I acknowledge that...), so I want give her ipod some day.

My life with computer

The first time to use computer was when I was about eight years old. My father told me how to use computer. Like Mr. Poza, my father likes Mac very much, so the first computer I used was Mac and I had used Mac for long time. I have been using PC since last September, but I do not know the difference between Mac and PC still now. I do not remember exactly what I did on computer when I started to use it, but I remember that I did some games made for children because my father did not want me to use other programs. However, I liked the games so I could start my new life with computer pleasantly.
While I was elementary school students, my school started have computer class, so I had chance to learn it. During the class, I remember that I learned typing and most of students enjoyed to do typing practice program like a game. As I grow up, I become to use the Internet to search something I was interested in such as movies and music.
When I was junior high school student, I studied how to use Power Point or how to make web page but I did not use them in my daily life. But I used Word some times. For instance, I used it when I wrote compositions of homework for the summer. I already preferred using computer to writing on paper when I was junior high school student.
While I was in high school, I did same things on computer as what I did before such as using the Internet or Word.
Now, I use computer everyday to search something on the Internet, write essays and I made Power Point last semester for my presentation. Without computer, I can not get ahead with my NIC life. Computer becomes essential tool for me (may be everyone in NIC) and I want use it without any problems. Therefore, I am taking computer class now! I want to get new knowledge and ready for my college life in the United Stated with my computer!
